My sister is currently serving a mission in New York and she told me of a cool primary singing time they had. The sister missionaries were invited into primary and the primary chorister came with a box with a big mouth on it. The inside of the mouth was cut away so one could reach inside the mouth into the box. Inside the box were slips of papers with ideas of things we could say to teach what we believe as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. All the “beliefs” were simple primary song titles. They ended singing time by standing in a big circle with a blow-up globe and passed it around the circle while singing “We’ll Bring the World His Truth.”

I thought this idea was so cool that I had to re-create something like it. With my primary, I plan to use the box as directed and take the time to sing each primary song that comes out of the mouth. It will be a great review day! And also a great introduction to July’s recommended song, “I Want To Be A Missionary Now.”

As always, I hope you find this helpful. I’ll add the printable below! Happy singing!
